Dana Gnesdilow

Assistant Researcher

Dana Gnesdilow is a Researcher Associate working at the Interactive Learning and Design Lab (ILDL) with Dr. Sadhana Puntambekar. She is a certified teacher for grades K-6 and earned a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Connecticut - Storrs and also received a M.S. in Educational Psychology – Learning Sciences at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She works with the ILDL team to create innovative, middle school science curricula and teacher-centered  professional development workshops for two NSF DRK-12 funded research projects: SimSnap: Orchestrating Collaborative Learning in Biology through Reconfigurable Simulations and Collaborative Research: Scaffolding Science Learning and Teaching in Middle School Classrooms through Automated Wise Crowd Analysis of Students’ Writing. More information about these projects can be found at: https://ildl.wceruw.org/category/projects/.
