Drew Anderson

Postdoctoral Researcher

Drew studies applied microeconomics, focusing on public policy, education, and poverty. His interests include public and private funding of education, how families pay for college, and competition in higher education.

At WCER Drew works for the Wisconsin HOPE Lab. 

Drew grew up in Colorado, then attended Augustana College in South Dakota, where he earned his BA in mathematics and economics. He worked as a software engineer before coming to Wisconsin to study economics. He earned his PhD in economics from UW-Madison in 2015.
