Continuation of Mixed-Method Evaluation of the T4U Program in Milwaukee Public Schools
MPS’s Tutoring 4 You (T4U) program targeted 42 schools during the 2013-14 school year. Tutoring services were provided by Cardinal Stritch University and Educate Online Learning. Cardinal Stritch offered tutoring for students in 1st – 5th grades. Tutoring was provided for (1) hour (2) two days per week for a total of 40 hours of tutoring support. Educate Online provided 41 schools with at-home, on line tutoring services for second grade students. The in-home tutoring services consisted of 40 hours of academic support in reading or mathematics. Tutoring sessions took place online after school for one (1) hour per session, two (2) days a week.
