RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - WEC
Anthony Hernandez is a researcher and evaluator in the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative (WEC) at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) at the University of Wisconsin—Madison (UW-Madison). Anthony previously directed a two-year evaluation of the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). He also worked on research around material hardship in higher education at The Wisconsin HOPE Lab.
Anthony has a Higher Education Teacher Certification from his alma mater, Harvard University. At UW-Madison, he has taught an evaluation course, EPS 500: Research and Evaluation in Education, to undergraduate and graduate students and a comparative education course, EPS 240: Comparative Education, to undergraduate students. He holds an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree from Harvard University. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Anthony has a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certification. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs, Governor and Inertia.
