Barney Gallagher is an Instructional Designer at WIDA. His focus is on the design and development of online learning for educators who teach multilingual learners. He seeks to design creative, innovative resources with educator perspectives.
His background prior to joining WIDA includes a decade of high school Social Studies teaching, a decade of technical training at Madison-area healthcare organizations, and three years of instructional design work with UW-Extension. He holds a master's degree in Modern European History and a graduate certificate in Instructional Design.
