Daniel Maggin's research examines the education of students with disabilities with a particular emphasis on supporting those students with and at risk for developing emotional and behavioral disorders. He focuses on identifying effective, school-based instructional and management practices, developing individualized educational programs for disabled students and promoting the use of research in schools to better support the individualized needs of these students.
