Call for Proposals Open for 2018 MSAN Institute
January 11, 2018
The Minority Student Achievement Network (MSAN) holds a yearly conference, the MSAN Institute, the goal of which is to share cutting-edge strategies for eliminating racial achievement and opportunity gaps in schools. Two areas of practice frame this goal: developing equity-focused leadership practices, and building cultural competence.
Each year, MSAN invites staff and volunteers from our member districts, community partners currently working with MSAN districts, researchers, and others to facilitate breakout sessions at the Institute. Session descriptions should be submitted using this electronic submission form no later than February 9, 2018.
MSAN Institute breakout sessions highlight practices for classroom teachers, building- or district-level decision makers, and family engagement leaders; sessions may outline current initiatives as well as inform future research. If you would like to participate, please visit the 2018 MSAN Institute website for more information.
