Ozgur Ozdemir
WIDA eLearning Instructional Designer
Ozgur joined the WIDA in 2021 as an eLearning Instructional Designer. He works in a team of professionals to design and develop online digital learning experiences for pre-K-12 educators serving multilingual learners.
Prior to his current role, Ozgur created online courses for over 10 years for multiple higher education institutions in the U.S. He has taught several graduate level online courses for over four years including Instructional Multimedia Design and Development, Issues in Instructional Tech, and Diffusion of Innovations. He also published in the Journal of Computing in Higher Education and Journal of Learning for Development.
Ozgur received his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Instructional Systems Technology from the Indiana University-Bloomington, B.Ed. in Computer Education and Instructional Technology from the Marmara University in Turkey. He enjoys visiting state parks as they provide quality time with family.
