Bryan McGovern Wilson
Fellow of the Creative Glass Center of America, Artist in Residence, The Everglades National Park
Wilson is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City who incorporates field research, performance and craft disciplines to engage with time, the land and the body. Wilson’s work investigates the human desire to understand forces greater than themselves and how material culture serves as the intersection and expression of this desire. Through the mediums of sculpture, drawing and performance, his work endeavors to simultaneously create points of access for the viewer and strengthen the mystery surrounding unique moments in history, processes of making and field work.
