S. Craig Watkins investigates the relationship between social and technological change and social inequality. In this talk, Watkins will discuss some of the insights generated by his ethnographic research in resource-constrained schools and argue that educators must begin helping students develop the skills to better understand the many implications of the Internet on our lives.
