Promoting Readiness: A Symposium of Perspectives/Practices

Dr. Powers will share insights regarding the importance of attending to community readiness, organizational capacity, and setting characteristics as essential components of effective implementation of evidence-based programs from the perspective of a state wide system of adolescent health and pregnancy prevention.
At the local level, Dr. Good will highlight approaches, frameworks, and tools the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative (WEC) uses in education initiatives within Dane County public schools and community organizations through discussion of an ongoing project to provide capacity building and evaluation services to the Madison Tutoring Network.
