Yarosh's research focuses on understanding how video-based technology can support children and teenagers in creating, playing and staying connected. She also designs novel technical solutions in this space. Yarosh will present three examples from her research: addressing communication challenges faced by parents and children who live apart; investigating technological support for remote play between a child and a remote gaming partner; and examining video-sharing through analysis of children's contributions to online video platforms.
