Battle of the Virons

You can learn about cell biology by playing the new online game Virulent. The Raven Virus fights off host and cellular immune responses with armies of virions, RNA genomes, and viral proteins. They steal energy and manipulate cell resources to spread infection. Virulent was produced by the WIDMIR partnership on game design for science learning (with Richard Halverson, Kurt Squire, Susan Millar, and colleagues). More information is available here.
