VARC Collaborates with Tulsa Schools

The Value-Added Research project has entered Year 2 in a collaboration with the Tulsa Public Schools. With funding from the Gates Foundation, VARC is producing value-added estimates for several subjects and grade levels, including estimates for math and reading for Grades 4-8, estimates for social studies and writing for Grades 5 and 8, and estimates for geography for Grade 7. VARC is also producing value-added estimates using end-of-course exams for high schools.
