VARC Research Presented at This Week’s AEFP Conference
March 21, 2011
This week researchers from WCER’s Value-Added Research Center will present at the annual meeting of the Association for Education Finance and Policy. They will share results from ongoing work in Chicago, Milwaukee, and New York; focus on classroom assignment practices in urban school districts using teacher level value-added systems; measuring the impact of team teaching on student-teacher linkage data; and a data-driven mechanism for improving the selection and retention of high quality teachers. The AEFP works to promote understanding of means by which resources are generated, distributed and used to enhance human learning.
