Educational Policies to Reduce Inequality: Deploying and Building Research in Wisconsin
December 12, 2018
On December 12, 2018, Eric Grodsky and the Students of Sociology 496/901 presented their work on educational policies to reduce inequalities. This symposium, sponsored by the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, is the product of a semester of collaborative work by students enrolled in a seminar that is intended to mobilize research for the benefit of children and families in our state.
Students selected the topics they thought had the potential to reduce educational inequalities across racial/ethnic groups or levels of family income and reviewed the existing literature on those topics. If you would like to learn more about any of these topics, please feel free to contact authors directly. Their emails are included with their executive summaries below.
