New Grants

Steven Kimball and Bradley Carl have been awarded $1,772,991 from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for "Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness System, Fiscal Years 2021-2023" through June 30, 2023.


H. Gary Cook and Laurene Christensen have received a grant of $1,821,977 from the Department of Education, in a subcontract with prime institution Minnesota Department of Education, for "Advancing ALTELLA: Alternate Assessment Redesign" through Nov. 30, 2021.


Rachelle Winkle-Wagner and Bridget Goosby have been awarded $50,000 from the Spencer Foundation for "Health Profiles of African American Women on the Tenure Track and Beyond" through July 1, 2021.


Beth Graue and Tenah Hunt have received a grant of $600,000 from One City Schools, Inc., for "Evaluating the Effectiveness of One City Schools: Preparing Children for School Success and Healthy Lives" through Dec. 31, 2024. 


Eric Grodsky has received a grant of $200,000 from the New Venture Fund for "What Makes a Classroom a Community? Teacher Mindsets and Student Sense of Belonging in Middle School Math Classes" through Feb. 28, 2021.


Steven Kimball has been awarded $65,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for “Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness (WREN Subaccount)" through Dec. 30, 2020.


Katie Eklund been awarded a $175,781 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Justice for "Examining the Efficacy of the Wisconsin School Threat Assessment Protocol" through June 30, 2022.
