Martina Rau received a grant of $300,000 from the National Science Foundation for a study on “Support for Individual and Collaborative Learning of Internal Visualization Skills for Complex Engineering Concepts in Active Learning Classes,” through Sept. 30, 2022.


The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Jennifer Asmus and Thomas Kratochwill $361,420 for their study, “Addressing the Integrity of the Problem-Solving Process: An Empirical Analysis of Problem-Solving Teams to Improve Team Functioning and Student Outcomes,” through Aug. 31, 2023.


David Gagnon has been awarded $107,527 by the Wisconsin Department of  Public Instruction for "Field Day Lab -- Year Six Funding" through Jane 30, 2020.


Stephen Kilgus, Andy Garbacz and Katie Eklund received a grant of $361,992 from the Department of Education for “Building an Efficient Targeted Intervention for Students At Risk for Internalizing Problems: The Resilience Education Program (REP), through May 30, 2023.


Jeremy Stoddard and David Shaffer were awarded a grant of $392,161 from the Department of Education for “PurpleState 2.0: Investigating the Impact of a Virtual Internship on Argumentative Reading and Writing in Civic Education,” through June 30, 2022.


Matthew Wolfgram, Matthew HoraMindi Thompson and Zi Chen received a grant of $970,129 from the National Science Foundation for “The College Internship Study: A Longitudinal Mixed Methods Study Exploring the Impacts of College Internships on Student Outcomes at HBCUs,” through June 30, 2022.


Karl Rosengren was awarded a grant of $99,995 from the National Science Foundation to study the role of visual representations in children’s learning about biological variability, through Aug. 31, 2021.


Stephen Kilgus received a $1,030,364 grant from the U.S. Department of Education for a project called, “Development of Assessment Tools and Educator Training to Support Tier 2 Behavioral Intervention Selection,” from Aug. 20, 2018 to June 30, 2021.
